The goal

EasyClickTravel is one of the travel sites owned by Travel Holdings Ltd.
In early 2015 EasyClickTravel decided they needed to improve their website’s user experience and content, and approached feelter with the aim of achieving these goals.

The approach

feelter's content was embedded in two key points of their website: the hotel search results page and individual hotel pages. To check feelter's influence on visitors' behavior, EasyClickTravel started extensive A/B testing in April 2015.

Within the first 2 months of the tests, the impact was already noticeable: visitors exposed to feelter converted 10% more. And a 10% increase was just the beginning.

The results

feelter's algorithm improved and adjusted the content based on users' engagement, and while the tests continued, the effects could clearly be noticed

Over the course of the tests, the increase has grown from the initial 10% to an overall of 39.5%. Indeed an astonishing outcome within a relatively short amount of time.

A 39.5% increase in conversion from visitors who were exposed to feelter as opposed to those who were not exposed. Looking at the other parameters of their engagement in the website, it is clearer to understand why: Visitors exposed to feelter spent 48% more time on site. When they started using feelter and opened the widget once, they did it on average of 3 times. Meaning visitors found feelter as being a useful tool that could help them choose the hotel they want to stay in. And this tool kept them in the website for longer, and eventually resulted in their higher conversion rate. 
bounce rate
Bounce rate was another main parameter which showed a considerable difference. Much of EasyClick's traffic comes from price comparison sites, and lands directly into the search results page. feelter's content has given them a competitive edge as the numbers clearly show. Overall bounce rate dropped by almost 50%.

"During the 8 months of A/B tests EasyClickTravel have experienced an almost 40% increase in sales by using feelter. User engagement, time on site and page views increased, and bounce rate dropped. 

These numbers pushed Travel Holdings to understand how valuable feelter's services are to their visitors, and to implement feelter in 2 of their other websites. Furthermore, they've decided that in the new App they're currently designing, feelter will be embedded in every crucial point in the sale cycle.
