Setting up feelter



Feelter content is very easy to integrate into your website.
This article provides the minimum information for integration of feelter content into your website.

The minimal integration includes the following steps:
  1. Add the JavaScript library code to the end of the <body> tag.
  2. Add needed DOM placeholders (Depends on the implementation).
  3. Enjoy feelter on your website.

Step 1 - Adding the JavaScript Code

Add the following to the end of the <body> tag: 
This is done because our script is served dynamically, with all the customizations and implementation parameters already in place.

Replace the ##WEBSITE DOMAIN## placeholder with your domain.

Step 2 - Adding the placeholders

To add feelter to your website, add the following DIV to your webpage (Depends on the implementation):

Attributes details

  • data-keyphrase - Key phrase in most of the cases is the name of your produt as to be searched around the internet

Additional optional attributes

  • data-city - (optional) Relevant to travel & hotels industries, the city of the hotel
  • data-ignore - (optional) Indicate feelter script to ignore this data-keyprase element. Default value is false
Note:
Replace each data element with the appropriate values of your website and product attributes.
The data-keyphrase attribute is not case sensitive

Adding the anchor (optional)

To add an anchor to feelter content, add the following DIV to your webpage (Relevant only to Carousel/Social Wall):

Step 3 - Enjoy feelter on your website

If any of the pages you test do not show our widgets yet, go get yourself a cup of coffee and refresh the page.
Your products are automatically detected the first time a page containing the product is opened, and the social networks are immediately researched for their mentions.

This process takes a few minutes the first time a product is scanned.

You should see the first results within 10 minutes and the final full results will be available within 24 hours.
